Quick Facts about Kroger:
• To shop and save at Kroger you must have a Kroger Plus card. You can down-load coupons directly to your Kroger card
• Kroger Digital Coupons can only be used once and they cannot be stacked with "paper coupons". Digital Coupons DO NOT DOUBLE, so I recommend not loading coupons under a $1.00 value.
• While you and a family member can get different Kroger cards with different numbers if it is linked to the same household address then the coupons on it will be the same.
• Please note there is a Kroger Coupon Policy here. Kroger in Memphis and surrounding areas doubles paper coupons 7 days a week up to $.60 automatically all you need to do is use your Kroger Plus Card.
• There is a limit of 5 of the same coupon per transaction at most Kroger stores here in the Mid-South.
• Internet coupons (they call them Print at home) are limited at using only 2 coupons per Manufacturer per day per customer. Meaning you can only use 2 Proctor and Gamble coupons and then 2 Kelloggs coupons etc.
• Make sure to download all the eCoupons to your Kroger card. It's easy and can save you lots of money. Just visit Cellfire, Shortcuts, SoftCoin, Saving Star and Upromise. Printable Coupons are available at Coupons.com, SmartSource, and Red Plum and Coupon Network.
• Be sure and use the coupon database to look up other products you need but don't see in the sale ad and see if there is a coupon for it.
This week at Kroger, they are getting ready for Labor Day weekend with a Labor Day $1.00 Sale. There is also a What a deal! Save 50% Sale. Buy Gift Cards and earn 4X Fuel Points valid now until September 11.

About the Match-Up:
I try to list best price items and items with coupons available.
Why do you list more than 1 coupon on a product, I can only use one Manufacturer's coupon per item right?
Yes, only 1 Manufacturers coupon per item, however I want you to know of all the coupons out there so you could get more than one item using different coupons.
If the item is 10 for $10 it is only $1.00, you do not have to buy 10 unless it is part of an event in which I will clearly state that.

For the items Kroger has at 50% off this week, could you please go to Kroger, record the prices, and post them online? Without this information, this post doesn't help me decide whether to make a trip to Kroger this week. Your website would have a lot more value to your readers if you would gather onsite info rather than just posting from ads and other websites; in fact, it's the only way you can set yourself apart from all the other websites out there.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI usually go into the store for the prices on Wednesday's when they have all their labels put out. I will hopefully have prices posted by tomorrow afternoon. Thank you for your concern.
My Memphis Mommy - I and several others appreciate all the time and dedication that you put into this FREE BLOG for our community! I couldn't imagine the time that it takes you to put together everything. One of my favorites is the Kroger Ad and although, it would have been helpful I realize that you probably have kids at home and limited time to walk every isle of Kroger to list all the prices. I think I can speak for several others that I appreciate the time you take to list the coupons to the deals. I for one, unlike Lisa feel that I can cut or print the coupons and take to the store with me and check the prices to see if it's worth for me to buy!
ReplyDeleteOnce again, thanks for all the time and dedication. And BTW your blog is nothing LIKE the other's blogs I've seen. It's actually got amazing Giveaways and Offers for Memphis readers and it's unique unlike all the other SAME stuff on the other blogs...oh and I love all the great retail deals lately...it's so fun to look at!
KUDDOS TO YOU!
I would like to say that I too appreciate all the effort you put into this blog. I understand when I go to the store that sometimes a deal won't be exactly like it appears on the site. Sometimes regions are different, or stores are different, etc. I have 2 kids, and not a lot of free time either, but a little bit of the fun of couponing is chasing down a great deal. I appreciate that your blog gives me the tools to do that, but I still get to do a little bit of the work. Now - if you'd like to do all my shopping for me... let's talk! :) Ha! Have a wonderful day! Jana Green
ReplyDeleteYour site is set apart from others because it's MEMPHIS!!! Most of the time other sites have a lower price than our area and it ends up being a waste of time for me to plan from. The Kroger ad doesn't even have the prices listed for the 50% off. This is the BEST local site. Thank you Memphis Mommy for the FREE service you provide us!
ReplyDeleteJessica is rocking Kroger!! She takes her sweet baby girl to Kroger and spends hours going through all the aisles finding prices, sometimes baby girl jsut can't take it ;0) and she doesn't get all the deals and prices, I did the same thing back in the day!! Show your support for all she does, she rocks!!! And when you find deals send it to her and Amy it HELPS! This is a free site and it is awesome to see the postive remarks as well it is your Memphis site so do help by finding deals and sending them in!!
ReplyDeleteJessica, thanks for adding the prices for the 50% off items at Kroger. If I know the prices ahead of time, I can put some thought into whether the price is a good one (rather than buying on impulse or standing around in the store trying to make a decision). Also, if I go to another store first, I know whether to buy that item at the other store, or wait to buy it at Kroger.
ReplyDeleteAs for the criticism of others here that I should just track these prices down myself, I have been undergoing cancer treatments for the past ten months. At times, I have had very little energy, and, also, at times, my mind is muddled. Blogs, such as this one, by providing information beyond what is posted in the ads, have made it possible for me to choose the store or stores that will give me the best prices at a time in my life when it is tempting to just buy what I need at whatever price. As you can probably understand, this is a time when saving money is most essential. Other bloggers, who are not in the Memphis area, often provide prices which do not apply here, and can result in wasted trips trying to track down deals that do not exist locally.
Thank you, My Memphis Mommy, for helping me with my shopping, in good times and in bad. What you do makes a tremendous difference out here.
