the week.

The whole family is invited to an evening of fellowship, food, and
fun at The Great American Picnic and Fireworks in honor of Independence
Day! Bring a blanket or chairs and your favorite summer foods—even your
grill—to enjoy on the grounds. You can also purchase food from our
vendors. The evening will end with a dazzling fireworks display that would impress even Uncle Sam himself!

We'll be hosting our annual Celebration by the Lake event on July 1st,
at 6:00 PM. We'll be having FREE food, hayrides, face painting, live
music, volleyball, kickball, basketball, a dunk tank, barrel train and
of course fireworks!

This celebration will be held at Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center at Highway
70 and Appling Road from 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and will include live music,
family activities, a car show, and food vendors. Fireworks will begin at
9:30.

The City of Southaven will host its annual July 4th Celebration this
year at Snowden Grove Park Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 4th. This
year’s entertainment will include performances by Life Fellowship Church
and Cornerstone Church. The entertainment will begin at approximately
7:30 pm with the fireworks extravaganza at approximately 9:30 pm. It is
free admission, and picnics and coolers are welcome.
