There is a brand new bakery in my neighborhood, Mad Lily Cakery. Melanie is a local mom who has been baking, decorating cakes etc for a long while opened a bakery this month, she named it after her 2 kiddos, Maddox and Lily, thus the name Mad Lily!! She changes her cup-cake flavors each week, I tried the classic chocolate frosted chocolate cupcake and it was delicious, moist and the chocolate was not over-powering just right!! The price is $3/cupcake or $2.50 if you buy a dozen or more.

I wish I would have known about her a few weeks ago when I was scrambling around trying to find a cute minnie mouse cake. I had to settle for Walmart :(
