I bought one of these a while back (well I got it free, but you know what I mean) and I used it in my kitchen and I loved it! I loved when I had "chicken hands" I could get soap on my hands without have to spread chicken germs on a soap dispenser ;0)It lasted me almost a year as the kid's were unable to use it ;0) I however have not bought a refill to it as it was FAR TOO EXPENSIVE (like $4.00) I think the whole system is definitely worth $2.00 it comes with batteries and everything! I plan to go and get another one!

You can pry the lid off with a butter knife and put your own soap in it. I have been doing this for about a year now and it works great!
I also took the lid off with a butter knife and refilled it with my own homemade hand soap...homemade with the freebie ivory soap i scored from walmart. Price of 1 gallon of homemade soap (without coupon)= $0.33 :)
