I don't remember alot of what my mom tells me LOL, but this stuck with me. With my first child she came to visit and my son was getting the age of walking and she said...."Amy he needs a good pair of shoes. His first shoe should be a stride rite!" Of course I said huh? Never heard of it...he'll out grown them whats wrong with a cheap shoe? Well needless to say when I got back from my weekend trip with my hubby they had been shopping and she bought him his "first" pair of shoes! Of course I about choked when she paid over $50 bucks for them! I'm thinking he'll out grow them in a couple of months.
