I being a savvy shopper and an avid recycling/re-user hate buying plastic bags for lunches, picnics and food on the go. So I "invested" in plastic containers, and have experienced 2 problems, 1 they take up a HUGE AMOUNT OF SPACE, and 2 after not much time the plastic starts to break down.
I did some research to try and find a solution and I discovered a green gift I know you are going to love! These are called lunch skins and they are fantastic, they do not take up much room and they are washable (even can be used in the dishwasher). I have used it for sandwiches (the grape jelly came out so easily), pretzels, fruit, the uses are endless. The styles available are appealing for all ages from a pre-schooler to an adult who would want to take these to work! I also love that these products are hand-sewn here in the USA!!!

I am trying to get rid of all things plastic. I would love these bags for my girls lunch. They pack their punch a lot and this would reduce waste so much! And they are really cute too ; )
I want this bag because it would inspire my 10 yr old to make her own lunches just so she could use it!
I would love the bags, I have three kids and make lunches for them everyday. Sandwich bags are expensive when you have to buy as many I have too. Something to help on the cost and the enivorment yeah.....Heather Y(hyannaccone@yahoo.com)
I would love this bag!! I am a college student who packs my lunch daily and I'm a recycling nut! I'm always looking for new ways to reduce and reuse and these look awesome! :) And really cute!
Great, my lunch bag is a leftover from one of my boys. I could sure use a new washable lunch bag. DV
Awesome idea!! We area always having issues with just finding lids and no containers or vice versa! these seem easy and quick and will store well in a drawer!
