I being a savvy shopper and an avid recycling/re-user hate buying plastic bags for lunches, picnics and food on the go. So I "invested" in plastic containers, and have experienced 2 problems, 1 they take up a HUGE AMOUNT OF SPACE, and 2 after not much time the plastic starts to break down.
I did some research to try and find a solution and I discovered a green gift I know you are going to love! These are called lunch skins and they are fantastic, they do not take up much room and they are washable (even can be used in the dishwasher). I have used it for sandwiches (the grape jelly came out so easily), pretzels, fruit, the uses are endless. The styles available are appealing for all ages from a pre-schooler to an adult who would want to take these to work! I also love that these products are hand-sewn here in the USA!!!

Wore out a mini cooler bag for breast milk storage with the last child. It wasn't easy to clean. Need find a new one. This seems like a great idea and a big timesaver.

I have a toddler AND run a daycare...my plastic containers are just not safe... I never have matching lids - this would be an easy solution! (plus, I love finding new "green" products!) (EB - wheatfreemom@gmail.com)
I would love to have to to take on trips!
i pack my lunch 5 days a week between my two jobs, and my daughter packs one 3 days a week for preschool, so needless to say we use ziplocs a lot! i've tried to cut down by using similar plastic containers, but would love the flexibility offered by these bags! (KJ)

My little boy usually uses a bag everyday for his snack, so this reusable bag could save alot of money in the long run.
My daughter would be more inspired to make her own lunches with such a pretty bag for her sandwiches!
These are so cool! I hate using plastic baggies, so have just been using containers, but these would be awesome to try out! --mand. entry, my initials A.C.
