Kid Station is a fully licensed drop-in and play center where children aged 12 months to 12 years can frolic under the careful guidance of a qualified childcare professional. Kids enjoy ocular stimulation from the colorful playrooms, complete with play stations stocked to suit every age bracket; blocks, trains, and storybooks entertain tiny tykes, while air hockey tables and video games woo their mature sibs. Kid Station adheres to strict caregiver-to-child ratios, ensuring each toddler and tween is under constant supervision. Safety procedures such as a password-controlled check-out process, allergy-sensitive snacks, and an imaginary friend retinal scan are strictly enforced, and all staff members are CPR/first-aid trained to handle minor medical emergencies. The usual $10 registration fee is waived for Groupon users who are new to Kid Station, and parents can also feel good about the many family-oriented community organizations that the center supports.
Drop-in play dates ($9/hour for first child, $2.50/hour for each additional sibling, siblings after the third are free), are available seven days a week, and are accepted up to one hour before closing time, making it easy for hectic parents to run last minute errands to the drugstore or Illuminati bake sale. Each child's visit is limited to seven consecutive hours.
