What better place is there to enjoy a good book than at the banks of the Mississippi River? Kids and parents, grab a blanket and head down to Mud Island River Park for an exciting afternoon of entertainment and warm, summer breezes.

Imaginations will soar as a special guests from the Memphis Public Library share their passion for reading and narrate their favorite books.

Read Out on the Mississippi is a free event designed to foster a love for reading in our local youth.
