You will need:
- Your favorite brand Devil Food Cake mix (and ingredients to add to it)
- Nutella 1/4 cup
- Ferrero Rocher-8 pieces
- Nestle Cocoa Powder (recipe for frosting on back and below)
Make the frosting:
"PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING: Melt 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine; stir in 2/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa. Add 3 cups powdered sugar alternately with 1/3 cup milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract beating to spreading consistency. About 2 cups frosting.
Add the remaining Ferro Rocher crushed pieces and the 1/4 cup of Nutella
I do have a recipe for making it from scratch, but I think the box mix tastes just as good, top this with fresh raspberries and you are in for a real treat.
Mom's Kitchen Tip: when you have to measure a sticky ingredient like Nutella, honey, syrup, peanut butter etc. simply spray your measuring cup lightly with cook spray and this will prevent a messy sticky residue in your measuring cup!
Saving's Tip:
Ferrero Rocher is a bit pricey but they usually go at least half-off after holidays (after Christmas, Valentine's and Easter) so plan ahead and stock up
