The low flow toilet sounds like a great idea, I hadn't heard much about that before. wr

We cloth diaper, try to eat local, eat organic, use CFLs.
recycle everything... including all number 5 plastics (yogurt containers, take out containers, lids, and Brita filters). I drive the city recycling to a local parking lot center (it's not offered where I live)... and take the number 5 plastics to the preserve collection container at Whole Foods.

A fun one for my family is using the library or buying used books instead of new ones. It's like a treasure hunt and it saves paper and production pollution!
We recycle, turn off the lights when leaving the room, take shorter showers, and pick up trash in our apartment complex (and save the cans to recycle)
